Silly Dogs

The other day as I was backing out of the driveway, I noticed my Great Dane lying in the sun, legs in the air. It's not unusual for her to lay like that, but I couldn't resist rolling down my window and snapping a shot. But then as I was putting away my camera I noticed Rita the cowdog lying in the same position - now that is unusual! Looks like they both died laughing.

Silo Rock Climbing

Lindsay and I went rock climbing Saturday at the old silos in the Ok City downtown area.

Enchanted Rock

Well, Mom and I actually got a little bored with shopping in Fredericksburg (crazy, huh?), and headed for home in the early afternoon. On a whim we stopped by the Enchanted Rock state park. One of Mom's blogging buddies suggested it.

There was a line of cars backed out to the highway waiting to get into the park. Here I thought we were going to get away from the crowds! It really wasn't that bad once we got to hiking.

Me and Mum

I just pretended to sip - as you can see there is a water bottle in the pocket of my backpack.

At work I loaded my pictures to a public drive so my coworkers could view them (and photoshop them). I kind of liked this one.

Shopping in Fredericksburg

On our way home from San Antonio, we went by Fredericksburg for some shopping. All we ended up buying was lunch and ice cream!

The next several pictures were taken in a really fun antique shop.

I seriously contemplated purchasing this billy goat.

Mom and I looking through a window at a girl demonstrating how to cut the candles.

Mint Chocolate Chip on a sugar cone has been my favorite since I was a wee little girl.

San Antonio IV

King William Street

One of the residents came out and told us about his house being haunted. His story was a little cheesy, but I believed him nevertheless!

The River Walk - again.

I thought these guys looked like they were fencing.

I had never seen a bat before - kind of creepy! The picture is a little dark, but I didn't have the nerve to use my flash.
